I have been completely satisfied with the care my children have been given at Alphaland. My children have been attending Alphaland since January 2001 and I would not send them to any other child care center.
My children have been through all aspects of the curriculum at Alphaland. As babies, my children were in the infant room, they were introduced to baby sign language, stimulated with a variety of toys and age appropriate equipment, but most of all they were very loved. I never worried about leaving my baby in their care.
As my babies grew into toddlers, they were moved into the toddler rooms. There they were encouraged to explore, color, do crafts, and learned how to play with other children.
When they were ready for preschool, they moved into the 3 year old room. Here they were taught songs, colors, shapes, discussed a variety of topics, and did a lot of papers and crafts on those topics.
The 4 year old room prepared my children for Kindergarten. They were taught the alphabet, numbers, writing, science, Spanish, etc. Because of this preparation my oldest son scored very high on his kindergarten entrance exam. My oldest daughter who has a learning disability had a lot of one-on-one instructions in both the 3 and 4 year old classrooms. I'm convinced this is why she is succeeding in a normal educational setting.
Alphaland is a large happy community, and all the children and their families are welcome with open arms into this community. All child care workers at Alphaland give 110% of their attention to the children. They praise and encourage them to succeed to the best of their abilities. It truly does take a community to raise a child.
